Available in the V8 and W12 trims, the 2010
Volkswagen Phaeton is capable of accommodating
4 or 5 passengers. For 2010, the Phaeton
comes equipped with a newly styled front
grille, new 18-inch alloy wheels on V8 models,
and an optional active cruise. The grille
has been fine-tuned for a more aggressive
look. A soft close feature comes handy in
automatically closing any passenger door
that is not completely closed. The Phaeton
competes with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class
and BMW 7-Series.
The largest and the most expensive car
in the Volkswagen history, the 2010 Volkswagen
Phaeton comes with an all-wheel drive. While
an air suspension automatically adjusts
firmness within four driver-selectable levels,
the 3-passenger rear bench with a couple
of adjustable buckles and center console
can be replaced with an optional 4-seat
package. In terms of comfort, the Phaeton
offers outstanding legroom. However, tall
occupants are likely to brush against the
