There's
more to Nissan than what you see on the
showroom floor (though that's a good place
to start). As their past, present and future
demonstrate, they're passionate about advancing
design and technology to build cars that
thrill and inspire. Understand the importance
of diversity in reaching goals. Nissan also
dedicates resources to community programs
and invest in environmental research. Plus,
they take the time to enjoy a good golf
tournament or Warren Miller movie every
now and again.
Call
Nissan zealous, even overzealous, but at
Nissan they know that settling for just
any solution is just that. Settling. And,
not to mention, the fastest way to go from
being an automotive company fueled by imagination
to just another automotive company, period.
That's why they think beyond the answer.
And ask. Because only through this process
of constant challenge can real change occur.
One question at a time.
Through
design - in the words of Nissan Design Director
Shiro Nakamura, it's the most vital point
of contact between the manufacturer and
you. And if there's one design methodology
that guides Nissan consistently, it's this.
The most successful and widely loved products
are, paradoxically, those created with the
most specific individual in mind.
Case
in point: Nissan
Xterra - design development started
at surf spots, trailheads, and kayak put-ins.
Places we thought outdoor enthusiasts would
take their SUVs. But once they got there,
Nissan saw more station wagons, trucks and
vans (all ingeniously reconfigured with
shelves, cords, mats and the like). Realizing
that most SUVs were either too plush or
too toy-like for the people encountered,
Nissan dumped the sand out of their shoes
and returned to the studio on a mission
to create something just for them.
Xterra
came straight out of our North American
design studio in San Diego. Other models,
though, are a global collaboration among
design centers in Japan, Europe and America.
The Nissan Sentra's
fresh, sophisticated styling is also from
the U.S. studio, but a German design team
created the European-style interior.
From
the city streets to the wide-open spaces
and around every bend life throws your way.
Whatever the setting, Nissan will move you
with responsiveness, agility, and a spirit
that is definitively Nissan. Try the Nissan
Z, Nissan
Sentra SE-R or legendary Nissan
Maxima and all your automotive expectations
will be exceeded.
Family
outing! Say no more. The Nissan
Quest is designed to make the transportation
of todays family an enjoyable and exciting
experience. The Nissan
Frontier is every bit of transport as
engineering perfection. These vehicle are
designed for individuals with emphasis on
personality, functionality and enginuity!
You
can get there. From the freeway on-ramp
to the jungles of South America, Nissan
Pathfinder covers a lot of ground, paved
and otherwise. Pathfinder has a tradition
of incredible power, along with advanced
all-terrain capability. What are you waiting
for? Another SUV in the Nissan stable- the
Nissan Murano
is built perfectly for all your on-road
adventures!
