 Mitsubishi
Motors is the fastest growing Japanese automaker
in North America. Why? An agile, streamlined
organization. Dedicated employees. A standout
brand. All-new markets. And some pretty

Their
official name is Mitsubishi Motors North
America, Inc., (MMNA) and they're responsible
for manufacturing, finance, distribution
and marketing of Mitsubishi brand coupes,
convertibles, sedans and sport utility vehicles
through a network of nearly 700 dealers
in the United States, Canada, Mexico and
the Caribbean.
A
big job? You bet. And getting bigger every
day.
They
sold 345,111 new vehicles in the United
States in 2002. It was their best year ever
- for the fourth consecutive time. In fact,
sales have grown 81% percent over the past
four years.
In
2002, the Mitsubishi brand also expanded
into Canada. In 2008 2009, they moved south into
Mexico. And with a renewed commitment to
Puerto Rico you can see that Mitsubishi
Motors is extending its reach and broadening
its appeal throughout the entire North American
market.
Mitsubishi's
come a long way since they began selling
cars in 1981 and building their first vehicle
in 1988. And they don't plan on slowing
down.
With
the 2008 2009 introduction of the Mitsubishi
Endeavor, they now market nine stylish and
distinctive sedans, sporty cars and SUVs
in North America, with more on the way.
In
total, Mitsubishi is preparing for an unprecedented
wave of new product launches, introducing
four all-new or completely redesigned products
by the end of 2008 2009, followed by two more
in the following two years. Three of those
six new vehicles will compete in North American
segments Mitsubishi has never competed in
before.
Mitsubishi's
customers are the youngest and most diverse
in the industry. They're a spirited group
that looks for something different. Something
