Behind each 2010 2011 Mercedes G-Class truck is a powerful engine
that stands unparalleled for performance:
- The G500 Light Truck comes standard with 5.0-liter, 24-valve
V-8 engine that delivers 292 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and
produces 336 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,000 rpm.
- The G55 AMG comes standard with an AMG-built, 5.5-liter,
24-valve V-8 engine that delivers 349 horsepower at 5,500
rpm and produces 387 pounds-per-foot of torque at 3,000
rpm.
