The 2008 Honda Insight hybrid
is powered by Honda's Integrated Motor Assist system, a technology
that pairs a 3-cylinder VTEC-E engine with an electric motor
for up to 500 miles per fill-up at the pump. At a time when gas prices rise every day, fuel efficiency
is more important than ever before. With that in mind, the
2008 Honda Insight hybrid combines the alternate power generation
with unique style for a ride that’s totally new. What’s more,
the Insight hybrid looks great, with a futuristic style reminiscent
of the Jetsons or a similar futuristic ideal. We have prepared

The Integrated Motor Assist system boasts a 1.0-liter, I3,
67-horsepower, hybrid engine whose mileage specs are 61-mpg
in the city and 68-mpg on the highway. To this, the Insight
links a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive as standard
equipment, and an optional Continuously Variable Transmission
if you are interested in even more sophisticated technology.
