The new 2010 Element is an adventurous SUV
which has performance and economy of a car. Swing open the Element's doors, and you'll
notice something different – unobstructed space. That's because
the Element was designed without conventional b-pillars to
maximize efficiency and functionality for those drivers who
need both. You can see this design note in the Element picture
above, but we’ll tell you more about it in our Element review
here. With that in mind, read on for all of the latest Element
information, or for information about available Element aftermarket
accessories in your area.
You’ll read it in every 2010 Honda Element review – the vehicle’s 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine pumps out 160 horses and is
second to none in the SUV class. With statistics like these, the Element SUV produces enough muscle to get you virtually
anywhere you want to be. And when you need to haul some extra gear, you can count on plenty of torque and a 1,500-pound
towing capacity. Tricky terrain is no problem with available Real Time 4-wheel drive. This sophisticated system senses wheel
slippage and automatically sends power to the rear wheels. What’s more, the unit-body construction provides bending and
twisting resistance and promotes a quiet, smooth ride, even on dirt roads. Last but not least, Honda Progressive Valve shock
absorbers use low-pressure gas and heavy-duty, high-density compression bushings to smoothly absorb small vibrations and
firmly control larger movements for a more comfortable ride. Thanks to technology like this, Element performance is second to
none.
