The new 2008 GMC Jimmy is a 5-passenger,
fun and easy to drive sports utility that
rides on front independent suspension front
and rear stabilizer bar for added
performance offroad. GMC Jimmy boasts a
4.3L 6-cylinder engine with 5-speed manual
transmission and rear wheel drive. Unlike many
SUVs today, the Jimmy comes standard with
alloy 15 x 7.0 in. rims, P235/70R15 tires
all season tires, a spacesaver spare tire, steel spare wheel,
inside mounted spare tire, intermittent
wipers, roof rack, and swing out opening
rear quarter windows.
A
particularly nice feature in the new 2008
GMC Jimmy is the flip-up liftgate window
which makes loading and unloading groceries
a bit more manageable. Not to be outdone
in the safety area, the new 2008 GMC Jimmy
protects its passengers with ventilated
front disc / solid rear disc brakes, 4-wheel
ABS, rear center lap belt, 2 rear headrests,
engine immobilizer, daytime running lights,
and
dusk sensing headlamps. The new Jimmy is
a very comfortable, safe vehicle that is
great for trips to the outback or commutes
to work.
