2008 Ford Expedition XLT is the largest SUV
in its class, available in 12 trims, ranging
from the 2008 Ford Expedition XLT 4X2 to the

The 2008 Ford Expedition comes with two different engines.
With the basic Expedition model, you’ll get a 4.6-liter, SOHC
V-8 that delivers 232 horsepower at 4,750 rpm, 291 pounds-per-foot
of torque at 3,450 rpm, and the capacity to tow up to 6,050
pounds. With the Expedition XLT and Expedition Eddie Bauer
models, you’ll get a 5.4-liter, SOHC V-8 that delivers 260
horsepower at 4,500 rpm, 350 pounds-per-foot of torque at
2,500 rpm, and the capacity to tow up to 8,900 pounds.
