2008 Chrysler Pacifica has the comfort of a
minivan and all-wheel-drive capability of an
SUV. Chrysler has introduced Pacifica to
fill a brand new niche it calls sports
tourer. It became more apparent, as the
information arrived for our 2008 Chrysler
Pacifica review, that Pacifica combined the
passenger carrying ability of a car with the
cargo space of an SUV/minivan. An all-wheel
drive model that seats six with a
disappearing third seat for carrying cargo
is first to come off the production line.
The Pacifica has a load leveling rear suspension,
four-wheel antilock brakes, power adjusted
pedals with memory and is powered by a 250
horsepower (250 LB-ft of torque) version
of the Chrysler 300M 3.5 V6, connected to
an AutoStick four-speed automatic.
