Concorde engines are as much as 25 percent more powerful than their design predecessors, yet they improved overall efficiency by nearly 10 percent, cut some emissions by a full 30 percent. The 3.5-liter High-Output V6 on Concorde Limited delivers 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 250 pounds-per-foot of torque at 3,900 rpm. On the Concorde LXi, a 232-horsepower 3.5-liter 24 valve V6 is equipped with a three-plenum intake manifold for optimum midrange and wide-open throttle power. Finally, the Concorde LX boasts a 2.7-liter 24-valve V6 that sports smooth-running dual overhead camshafts and delivers 200 horsepower, making it one of today's most potent engines.
